Filmotech 3.82

Filmotech is a well-designed movie cataloging application that you can use to organize your video collection. It supports Blu-Ray, DiVX, HD-DVD, DVD, as well as other types of optical discs. I didn't expect too much from this kind of application, considering that it comes as a free program, but it managed to surprise me in a very pleasant way.

Filmotech provides users with a great number of organizing tools. Moreover, it is one of the best cataloging programs that I ever came across. It lets you create multiple profiles, which are afterward saved in a SQLite or MySQL database. This way, you can easily categorize your movies by the disc type they are stored on. Each movie entry comes with a great of deal of fields regarding movie information, such as: title, genre, year, country, run-time, rating, subtitles, language, synopsis, cover, etc. You can manually fill these fields, or better, use the search tool that will automatically find all this information online.

The program also includes a “Cover printer”. After downloading the official cover from the Internet, you have the opportunity to print it. You can select from many cover layouts, and customize them in many ways.

I strongly recommend this program to movie enthusiasts that own a great collection of films. It has all the necessary features to help you efficiently keep track of your movies.
